One person killed near 8323 S STATE ST in Chatham

A driver was killed after a Thursday night collision with a parked motor vehicle in Chatham on August 10, 2023 at 11:30 PM.

The crash occurred near 8323 S STATE ST, on a one-way road. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. It was dark but with streetlights, the weather was clear, and the roadway was dry. The police report attributed the cause of the crash to a driver's physical condition.
