One person killed near 1217 E 87TH ST in Calumet Heights

A driver was killed after a Thursday morning sideswipe opposite direction collision in Calumet Heights on February 2, 2023 at 5:40 AM.

The crash occurred near 1217 E 87TH ST, on an undivided road. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. It was dark, the weather was clear, and the roadway was dry. The police report did not specify a cause for the crash.
