Five people severely injured near 3800 W WASHINGTON BLVD in Garfield Park

Three passengers and two drivers were severely injured after a Sunday early morning angle collision in Garfield Park on April 12, 2026 at 12:01 AM.

The crash occurred near 3800 W WASHINGTON BLVD, on a divided road. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. There was a traffic light. It was dark, the weather was clear, and the roadway was dry. The police report attributed the cause of the crash to failing to yield right of way.

There were two motor vehicles involved in the crash:
