One pedestrian killed near 10000 W OHARE ST in O'Hare

A pedestrian was killed after a Saturday afternoon collision with a parked motor vehicle in O'Hare on January 15, 2022 at 2:40 PM.

The crash occurred near 10000 W OHARE ST, on an undivided road. The posted speed limit was 25 mph. The weather was clear and the roadway was dry. The police report did not specify a cause for the crash.

A 2018 Mack operated commercially was heading west while starting in traffic. The driver, a 60-year-old man, was wearing a seat belt and his airbag did not deploy; he was uninjured.
