A pedestrian was killed; and a driver and another pedestrian were severely injured after a Friday evening angle collision in Auburn Gresham on August 5, 2022 at 6:34 PM. One other person reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries.

There were three motor vehicles involved in the crash:
- A 2005 Mercedes-Benz was heading west. The police report described the driver, a 32-year-old man, as disregarding traffic controls/signals. His airbag deployed from the front; he reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries.
- A 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee was heading southeast and was hit in the side-left-rear. The driver, a 42-year-old man, reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries; his airbag deployed from the side.
- A 2012 International was heading east while slowing or stopping in traffic and was hit in the front. The driver, a 54-year-old man, was uninjured; his airbag did not deploy. A 60-year-old male passenger reportedly suffered unspecified injuries; his airbag did not deploy.
A 14-year-old girl (pedestrian) was off the roadway; she was killed.
A 48-year-old woman (pedestrian) was off the roadway and wearing a seat belt; she reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries.
Police were notified at 6:34 PM and made a report on scene. This was the 210th injurious crash reported in August 2022, and the 9,250th injurious crash reported in 2022. It was the 79th fatal crash for 2022.
