A pedestrian was killed after a Friday morning hit-and-run collision in West Town on January 24, 2025 at 8:48 AM.

According to the initial Chicago Police Department report, at around 8:48 a.m., Huzdan was in a crosswalk when the turning driver of a 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SUV struck her and fled the scene. She was transported to Stroger Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
