One person killed, and one other person injured near 5900 S CORNELL DR in Jackson Park

A driver was killed after a Monday morning head on collision in Jackson Park on January 14, 2019 at 5:48 AM. One other person reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries.

The crash occurred near 5900 S CORNELL DR, on a road divided by a median barrier. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. It was dark but with streetlights, the weather was clear, and the roadway was icy. The police report did not specify a cause for the crash.
