One person killed, one person severely injured, and two other people injured near 3958 W IOWA ST in Humboldt Park

A driver was killed and a passenger was severely injured after a Wednesday afternoon collision with a parked motor vehicle in Humboldt Park on June 17, 2020 at 12:53 PM.

The crash occurred near 3958 W IOWA ST, at an intersection. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. There was a stop sign. The weather was clear and the roadway was dry. The police report did not specify a cause for the crash.

There were two motor vehicles involved in the crash:

• A 2018 Nissan Rogue was heading west. The driver, a 47-year-old man, was wearing a seat belt and his airbag did not deploy; he was killed.
