One person killed near 5265 W NORTH AVE in Austin

A passenger was killed after a Thursday afternoon rear end collision in Austin on December 13, 2018 at 12:25 PM.

The crash occurred near 5265 W NORTH AVE, on an undivided road. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. The weather was clear and the roadway was dry. The police report attributed the cause of the crash to following too closely.
