One pedestrian killed near 5404 W NORTH AVE in Austin

A pedestrian was killed after a Thursday afternoon collision in Austin on November 21, 2019 at 12:30 PM.

A 2002 Ford F150 was heading east while passing another vehicle. The police report described the driver, a 25-year-old man, as going too fast for conditions. His airbag did not deploy and his vision was reportedly obscured by moving vehicles; he was uninjured.

A 44-year-old woman (pedestrian) was killed.

A 50-year-old man (pedestrian) was uninjured.

Police were notified at 12:31 PM and made a report on scene. This was the 942nd injurious crash reported in November 2019, and the 14,687th injurious crash reported in 2019. It was the 94th fatal crash for 2019.
