Two people killed near 2621 W FULLERTON AVE in Logan Square

A driver and a passenger were killed after a Monday night head on collision in Logan Square on October 19, 2020 at 10:37 PM.

The crash occurred near 2621 W FULLERTON AVE, on a divided road. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. It was dark but with streetlights, the weather was clear, and the roadway was dry. The police report did not specify a cause for the crash.

There were two motor vehicles involved in the crash:

  • A 2017 Toyota RAV4 was involved in the crash. The driver, a 55-year-old woman, was killed; her airbag deployed. A 71-year-old female passenger was killed; her airbag deployed.
  • A 2012 Ford Focus was hit in the total (all areas). The driver, an unknown age male, was uninjured.

There was one other vehicle involved but not being driven: A 2015 Audi Q5, hit in the front.
