One person killed near 8300 S KEDZIE AVE in Ashburn

A driver was killed after a Thursday night hit-and-run angle collision in Ashburn on June 20, 2024 at 11:58 PM.

The crash occurred near 8300 S KEDZIE AVE, on an undivided road. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. There was a traffic light. It was dark but with streetlights, the weather was clear, and the roadway was dry. The police report attributed the cause of the crash to disregarding traffic signals.
