Two passengers and a driver were severely injured after a Sunday early morning angle collision in North Center on March 1, 2026 at 3:21 AM. 3 other people reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries.
The crash occurred near 2355 W ADDISON ST, at a four-way intersection. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. There was a traffic light. His airbag deployed; he reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries. A 22-year-old male passenger reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries; his airbag deployed. An unknown age female passenger reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries; her airbag deployed.
- A 2023 Toyota RAV4 was heading south and was hit in the front-right-corner. The driver, a 57-year-old man, was wearing a seat belt and his airbag deployed; he reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries. A 37-year-old male passenger reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries; his airbag deployed.
- A 2024 Toyota Camry was heading north while slowing or stopping in traffic and was hit in the front. The driver, a 41-year-old woman, was wearing a seat belt and her airbag did not deploy; she reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries.
Police were notified at 3:23 AM and made a report on scene. This was the 6th injurious crash reported in March 2026, and the 2,529th injurious crash reported in 2026.
