One person killed near 3117 W POPE JOHN PAUL II DR in Brighton Park

A driver was killed after a Saturday morning collision with a parked motor vehicle in Brighton Park on January 22, 2022 at 5:40 AM.

The crash occurred near 3117 W POPE JOHN PAUL II DR, on a divided road. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. There was a traffic light. It was dark but with streetlights, the weather was clear, and the roadway was dry. The police report attributed the cause of the crash to improper lane usage.
