One pedestrian killed, and three other people injured near 7410 S RACINE AVE in Englewood
A pedestrian was killed after a Monday morning angle collision in Englewood on February 22, 2021 at 11:54 AM.
The crash occurred near 7410 S RACINE AVE, at a four-way intersection. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. There was a traffic light. The weather was overcast and the roadway was wet. A 32-year-old female passenger reportedly suffered unspecified injuries; her airbag deployed from the front.
A 43-year-old woman (pedestrian) was in a bike lane and using a light source. The police report described her as traveling against traffic; she was killed.
Police were notified at 11:54 AM and made a report on scene. This was the 665th injurious crash reported in February 2021, and the 1,667th injurious crash reported in 2021. It was the 12th fatal crash for 2021.
