Four passengers were severely injured after a Sunday afternoon angle collision in Garfield Park on April 16, 2023 at 3:04 PM. 3 other people reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries.

  • A 2016 Ford F150 was heading south. The driver, a 34-year-old woman, reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries; her airbag deployed. A male reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries; his airbag deployed. A 15-year-old female passenger reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries; her airbag deployed. A 7-year-old female passenger reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries; her airbag deployed.

Police were notified at 3:05 PM and made a report on scene. This was the 705th injurious crash reported in April 2023, and the 4,075th injurious crash reported in 2023.
