A driver was killed after a Monday early morning angle collision in Grand Boulevard on August 21, 2023 at 1:52 AM. One other person reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries.

- A 2020 Mazda CX-3 was heading east and was hit in the side-left-rear. The driver, a 44-year-old woman, reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries; her airbag deployed from the side.
Police were notified at 1:52 AM. This was the 1,002nd injurious crash reported in August 2023, and the 10,236th injurious crash reported in 2023. It was the 86th fatal crash for 2023.
