One person killed, two people severely injured near 7100 S PULASKI RD in West Lawn

A driver was killed and two passengers were severely injured after a Sunday evening sideswipe same direction collision in West Lawn on March 23, 2025 at 8:39 PM.

The crash occurred near 7100 S PULASKI RD, on a road divided by a median barrier. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. It was dark but with streetlights, the weather was clear, and the roadway was wet. The police report attributed the cause of the crash to improper overtaking or passing.

There were two motor vehicles involved in the crash:

A 22-year-old female passenger reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries.

Police were notified at 8:39 PM and made a report on scene. This was the 1,063rd injurious crash reported in March 2025, and the 3,463rd injurious crash reported in 2025. It was the 17th fatal crash for 2025.
