One person killed, one person severely injured near 259 S LOTUS AVE in Austin

A driver was killed and a passenger was severely injured after a Saturday afternoon collision with a parked motor vehicle in Austin on April 21, 2018 at 2:48 PM.

The crash occurred near 259 S LOTUS AVE, on a one-way road. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. There was a stop sign. The weather was clear and the roadway was dry. The police report did not specify a cause for the crash.
