One person killed, and one other person injured near 12988 S HALSTED ST in West Pullman

A driver was killed after a Tuesday evening head on collision in West Pullman on September 14, 2021 at 7:36 PM. One other person reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries.

The crash occurred near 12988 S HALSTED ST, on a divided road. The posted speed limit was 35 mph. It was dark but with streetlights, the weather was clear, and the roadway was dry. The police report did not specify a cause for the crash.
