One person killed, and one other person injured near 3319 S LAKE SHORE DR NB in Douglas

A driver was killed after a Sunday early morning head on collision in Douglas on February 5, 2023 at 3:58 AM.

The crash occurred near 3319 S LAKE SHORE DR NB, on a road divided by a median barrier. The posted speed limit was 45 mph. It was dark but with streetlights, the weather was clear, and the roadway was dry. The police report attributed the cause of the crash to traveling the wrong way or on the wrong side.
