One person killed near 8111 S COTTAGE GROVE AVE in Chatham

A driver was killed after a Sunday evening collision with a parked motor vehicle in Chatham on September 22, 2019 at 5:55 PM.

The crash occurred near 8111 S COTTAGE GROVE AVE, on a divided road. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. It was dusk, the weather was rainy, and the roadway was wet. The police report attributed the cause of the crash to a driver's physical condition.
