Two people killed near 6151 W BELMONT AVE in Belmont Cragin

A driver and a passenger were killed after a Saturday morning collision in Belmont Cragin on July 1, 2023 at 11:30 AM.

The crash occurred near 6151 W BELMONT AVE, on an undivided road. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. It was dark but with streetlights, the weather was clear, and the roadway was wet. The police report did not specify a cause for the crash.
