A pedestrian was killed and another pedestrian was severely injured after a Sunday afternoon collision with a fixed object in Douglas on April 1, 2018 at 4:35 PM. One other person reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries.

The police report attributed the cause of the crash to failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash; and, secondarily, to disregarding traffic signals.
A 2007 Saturn Aura was heading north while avoiding vehicles or objects. The driver, a 28-year-old man, reportedly suffered non-incapacitating injuries; his airbag deployed from the front. One other passenger was uninjured.

A 61-year-old man (pedestrian) was off the roadway; he reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries.
